3. The Orchestra Mozart with Daniele…

The Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna is happy to announce that, in 2022, you will have two opportunities to listen to the Orchestra Mozart playing live under the direction of its musical director Daniele Gatti in Bologna: on April 18, coming back to Italy after being artist-in-residence at LAC in Lugano and performing at the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni, where it will give the traditional Easter concert, and on October 1, 2022, once again at the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni.

The main character dominating in the April program will be Beethoven, as the Orchestra will perform firstly the Overture of The Creatures of Prometheus, Op. 43, then the “Triple Concerto”, Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Piano in C major, Op. 56, together with Andrea Lucchesini, piano, and the Orchestra Mozart’s solo artists, violin and cello, and finally the Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92, again by the brilliant Bonn composer.

The concerts featuring the Orchestra Mozart’s solo artists are organized with the help of Alfasigma S.p.A. The concert season is organized with the help of the Ministry of Culture, the Emilia-Romagna Region, and the City of Bologna.  Media Partner: Rai Radio3, Classic Voice and Il Resto del Carlino. Teachers can purchase tickets and subscriptions with the Carta del Docente.

The Under 35 Youth Ticket can be purchased by all those under 36 years of age.
