Our goal is to make the Orchestra Mozart play again, and to carry on the artistic research following the path suggested by Claudio Abbado. Through this crowdfunding campaign, which will last one year, it will be possible to donate and to contribute to the rebirth of the Orchestra; we are looking for public and private supporters, friends, aficionados, we want to lay the foundation of tomorrow’s OM. We propose a new, farsighted, sustainable, participatory way of making culture.

The crowdfunding goal is 500.000 euro, a sum that will allow the full operational return of the Orchestra Mozart.

The word “crowdfunding”, as suggested by its etymology, indicates the financing provided by the crowd. It’s very simple: a project is made possible thanks to the involvement of the people, that identify in its purposes. One of crowdfunding’s  major fields of application is the one linked to common causes, in which positive results are not confined to the individual, instead they spread their positive effects over a society that shares culture and values. This is how civic crowdfunding works.  When it comes to artistic heritage or civic projects the use of crowdfunding extends traditional fundraising, makes it minimalist and improves it through the public opinion; this direct involvement contributes to increase its symbolic and cultural worth. Did you know that the Statue of Liberty too has been crowdfunded? They didn’t use this expression yet but it’s the same principle: over 120,000 subscriptions supported that common project (in 1884!). This is our goal: to involve those who fell in love with the Orchestra Mozart, those who appreciated it and those who haven’t discovered it yet.. we want to involve everyone in this great operation to make the Orchestra Mozart play again!

If you’re a private, in every section of the website you’ll find a different way to take part in the project: concerts, videos, unreleased pieces, special contents, workshops, meetings with the musicians, antiques of the Academy. You’ll be required name, surname and your mail so that we can confirm to you that your donation actually occurred. 

If you’re a company or an institution, contact us at segreteria@accademiafilarmonica.it! Together we will develop a made-to-measure project with the protagonists of the Orchestra Mozart. Above all, we ask you to spread the idea of the project, to talk about it with everyone, to follow us on social networks. The money, collected by the platform administrated by GINGER, immediately goes to the Regia Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna, the public body from which OM has been created and which today is promoting this campaign.

You can find the supporters in the dedicated page, with the names that they signaled, to witness their contribution! Those who don’t wish to appear in the list can select the choice to remain anonymous at the moment of the donation.

The rewards are objects and symbolic services that will attest your active participation to the project OM RISUONA; special rewards will be linked to events and initiatives which aim to promote the Orchestra Mozart. The rewards may vary  over time.
