A unique event approaches: on the 13th of December the Orchestra Mozart soloists will meet the citizens of Bologna and will introduce the January 6 concert, the return of the Orchestra Mozart. After three years of silence, this Orchestra - founded by Claudio Abbado - plays again in a long-awaited concert with Maestro Bernard Haitink and Isabelle Faust.

The Orchestra Mozart soloists (Francesco Senese e Giacomo Tesini violin; Sara Marzadori viola; Gabriele Geminiani cello) will tell us about this concert in a public meeting set in the very center of Bologna. The location is a most special one: the Salaborsa library, core of the cultural life of the city. A public space, open and set in the heart of Bologna, the perfect location for such an occasion. The event will include an introduction held by Francesco Senese and Giacomo Tesini, Orchestra Mozart violinists. Together they will talk about the OM Encore project, and the over 1000 supporters that made this concert possible; they will also introduce the repertoire that will be played on the 6th of January, and will explain the links this music has with the past and the future of the OM. The Piano Quintet op. 44 by Robert Schumann will follow, with Ingrid Fliter as pianist, a most exceptional guest.

How to attend: the event is free entry but admissions are limited, in order to be sure to attend the event we advise you to write an email to segreteria@accademiafilarmonica.it and book your invitation. Alternatively, you can book your invitations by calling the 0039 051 22 29 97. Invitations can be booked only until 12pm of the 13th of December and they are valid up to 15 minutes before the beginning of the event; remaining invitations (if any) will be available from 8.45pm to 9pm on the very evening of the 13th of December.
