Raphael Christ comes from a family of great musicians and naturally started playing an instrument. He was introduced to Abbado through the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester. He did 3 tours with maestro Abbado, interpreting Malher 4th, 9th and Bartok with a fresh approach he never saw before. To him, the Orchestra Mozart is a special project as it combines the energy, happiness and pride of all the musicians; it is the “result of an incredibly rejuvenating, happy, wonderful music making with the highest potential and the highest qualified players”.
