We’re delighted to present the second edition of the Orchestra Mozart Festival, in programme from the 26th to the 28th of April 2019, in Bologna. The Orchestra will be conducted once again by the great Bernard Haitink; the repertoire will feature music from Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Schubert. The festival will see as protagonists the Solisti dell’Orchestra Mozart in the beautiful Sinfonia Concertante by Haydn (April 26) and the young and talented German pianist Martin Helmchen (April 28). As in 2018, the two symphonic concerts will be alternated by a chamber music concert (April 27).

The festival will also feature other musical events in the city of Bologna, with the aim of connecting more and more people with the world of classical music. The full programme will be communicated in the following months.

Once again, the Orchestra will play in Bologna after a residency and four concerts at the prestigious LAC in Lugano during the Easter holidays.

The box office opens on December the 5th and the subscriptions for the three concerts in Bologna will be fully available; we confirm that the 2018 subscribers will be able to keep their seats if they will renovate their subscription by January 14, 2019. Tickets for the single concerts will be available from January 15, 2019. See below for further details.
