IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to a sudden illness, Maestro Daniele Gatti is unable to conduct the closing concert of the complete Beethoven cycle, scheduled to take place at the Manzoni Auditorium in Bologna on September 20. The Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna announces that Sir John Eliot Gardiner will conduct the concert on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 8:30 PM at the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni in Bologna. He will lead the Orchestra Mozart, the Chorus of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna with its conductor Gea Garatti Ansini, and the soloists: soprano Lenneke Ruiten, mezzo-soprano Eleonora Filipponi, tenor Bernard Richter, and baritone Markus Werba. The program for the evening remains unchanged: Beethoven’s Symphonies No. 8 and No. 9, two cornerstone works of the classical repertoire, will be performed.
Ticket Information: The concert is currently sold out; however, as is often the case, some seats may become available closer to September 20. These tickets will be made available both on the website Vivaticket.it, which we recommend keeping an eye on, and at the Manzoni Auditorium box office starting at 7 PM on the evening of the concert. Tickets range from €12 to €75. Special discounts are available for those under 35.
